1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA PROCESSING?

By reading this Privacy Policy, the User is informed about the way in which ISAM collects, treats and protects personal data provided through the forms provided on the website, as well as on the web page itself, and those other data you can provide through any other means or support.

The User must carefully read this Privacy Policy, which has been written in a clear and simple way, to facilitate its understanding, and to determine freely and voluntarily if he/she wishes to provide his/her personal data to ISAM.

3. OBLIGATION OF PROVIDING DATA.

Data requested in the Web Page forms are, in general, mandatory (unless specified otherwise in the required field) to meet the set purposes. Therefore, if they are not provided or are not provided correctly, the purposes cannot be met, without prejudice to the free access to the content of the Website.

4. WITH WHAT PURPOSE WILL THE PERSONAL DATA OF THE USER BE TREATED? HOW LONG?

Personal data provided through the Website will be processed by ISAM, in accordance with the following purposes:

  • Provide you with personalized information about products, services, events, courses, programs, promotions and relevant news, by sending commercial communications by electronic and traditional means.
  • Manage the registration in the corresponding event, when the User has provided his/her data for this purpose. In this regard, the User is informed that ISAM reserves the right to take photographs and videos of Users attending events organized or with the participation of ISAM, in order to promote the activities of the company. If the User does not want his/her data to be treated in accordance with said purpose, please do not expose them to the photographic or audiovisual shootings made during the event.
  • Manage the admission procedure and the admission tests of the students, which will even include the elaboration of profiles, in the event that the User completes any of the admission forms.

User’s data will be retained by ISAM for the time necessary to comply with the above purposes or until the user opposes or revokes his/her consent.

5. WHICH USER’S DATA WILL BE TREATED?

ISAM may deal with the following categories of User’s data, depending on the request made through the website or by any other means.

  • Identification details: name, surnames, ID, photo.
  • Contact information: postal address, email address, telephone.
  • Personal characteristics information: date of birth, sex and nationality.
  • Social circumstances data: hobbies, lifestyle, marital status, etc.
  • Employment details: job position and company you work for.
  • Academic and professional data.
  • Economic and financial data.

In the event that the User provides third parties data, he/she declares to have received the consent of the third party and commits himself/herself to inform about the contents of the Privacy Policy, releasing ISAM from any responsibility in this regard. However, ISAM may carry out a periodical inspection to verify this, adopting the corresponding measures, according to data protection regulations.

6. WHAT IS THE LEGITIMATION OF USER’S DATA TREATMENT?

User’s data treatment made by ISAM is based on the required consent and can be withdrawn at any time. However, if you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of the treatments carried out previously.

The consents obtained for the aforementioned purposes are independent, so the User may revoke only one of them, not affecting the others.

7. TO WHAT RECIPIENTS WILL THE USER’S DATA BE COMMUNICATED?

Likewise, if your residence is outside the EEA, your data may be communicated to ISAM Offices, as well as to ISAM alumni, located outside the EEA, which would imply that there would be an international data transfer to manage and carry out your request for information, enrolment and admission.

8. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER.

The User:

  • Guarantees that he/she is older than 16 years old and that the information provided to ISAM is true, accurate, complete and updated. For these purposes, the User is responsible for the truthfulness of communicated data. He/she will keep the information provided updated, so that data match the real situation.
  • Guarantees that he/she has informed third parties for which he/she has provided data, if any, of the aspects contained in this document. He/she also guarantees that he/she has obtained the authorization to provide data to ISAM for the purposes indicated.
  • He/she will be responsible for false or inaccurate information that can be provided through the Website and for direct or indirect damages that this conduct may cause to ISAM or to third parties.

9. COMMERCIAL AND PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS.

One of the purposes for which ISAM will treat the personal data provided by Users is to send them personalized digital communications with information related to products, services, events, courses, programs, promotions and relevant news for Users. Whenever any communication of this type is made, it will be addressed solely and exclusively to those Users who have not previously expressed their refusal to receive them. To carry out this purpose, a commercial profile based on their preferences will be developed. This commercial profile is obtained based on the information provided by the user or from external sources. If the User wishes to stop receiving commercial or promotional communications, he/she can request the withdrawal of the service by sending an email to the following email address: [email protected] or through any of the received communications.

10. EXERCISE OF RIGHTS.

The User can send a letter to [email protected], with the Reference “Data Protection”, attaching a photocopy of his/her identity document, at any time and free of charge, to:

  • Revoke the consents granted.
  • Know whether personal information concerning the User is being processed at ISAM or not.
  • Access personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request data deletion when, among other reasons, data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
  • Obtain from ISAM the limitation of data treatment data when any of the conditions provided in the data protection regulation is fulfilled.
  • Request data portability.
  • Claim before the Spanish Agency for Data Protection, through the following address[email protected], when the interested party considers that ISAM has violated the rights that are recognized by the applicable regulations on data protection.

11. SECURITY MEASURES.

In accordance with the provisions of the implementing regulations, User’s data will be treated at all times in a confidential manner. The mandatory duty of secrecy regarding them will be kept, and will be adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee data security, avoiding their alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access. It will be taken into account the state of the technology, the nature of stored data and the risks to which they are exposed.
