Global Advisory Board

The advisory board will provide advice and support in the creation and development of academic programmes, as well as identifying and maintaining standards of best practice. In addition, board members will serve as ambassadors to the programmes; providing a conduit for the exchange of information and ideas between the ISAM curriculum and those most able to add value.

Flavio Alzueta

President of the Advisory Board

President of the Advisory Board Sustainable Food Supply & ESG, Head at NEOM. Former VP and Chief Marketing Officer and current member of the Advisory Board of GLOBALGAP, the global standard for good agricultural practices. Flavio holds an MBA from IE Business School and a range of postgraduate qualifications from CEIBS (Marketing), Wharton (Leadership), and Harvard Business School (Agribusiness).

Dr. Santiago García

Dr. Santiago Garcia is Vice President of the Advisory Board, he holds a PhD from Leeds University Business School and is currently Dean of the Global School at Rennes School of Business. Dr. Garcia serves as an international accreditation assessor and is a regular speaker at conferences and on panels addressing international higher education issues, where he provides unique expertise and insight on quality, internationalisation of operations, global partnerships, and digitalisation.

Jane Kaleha

Founder and CEO of Rehani Fresh Ltd,a company that produces culinary herbs for Export to Europe and UK. She founded Rehani Fresh in 2017 together with her husband. The farm has 3 hectares of greenhouses and open fields, with up to 20 employees. As a young farmer she like to do her bit to inspire and educate the youth about farming, and encourage them that farming is not only for the older generation. The company also opens door to students seeking internship and pays them for the labour they offer! This proves to be very motivating Today, The family business sees itself as a modern nursery and ready-made company that our customers can rely on. She is also Member and Vice chairlady of Herb Growers Association of Kenya.

Dr. Faisal Al-Kadi

Dr. Faisal is an entrepreneur who is committed to turning exciting ideas into successful businesses. Founder and Managing director of Faiour Enterprises, a platform for new ventures.Advisory Board Member at ISCEA -International Supply Chain Education and professor. MBA and Doctorate from IE Business School. His areas of expertise are Entrepreneurship, Culture, Family Business, National Economic Policies, Strategy.

Sarah Cruikshank

Leader of various teams focused on the impact of the development and search for safer food for consumers, through the Global Food Safety Advisory Program of the International Finance Corporation. She has more than 20 years of experience in international development within a wide variety of global work environments, with proven skills ranging from financial and technical to communication and teamwork.

Sanjay Sehti

Sanjay Sethi has been a leader in the field of sustainability and development investments for three decades. It is currently leading the transformation of agricultural production towards a more sustainable future. Danny Goh

He currently serves as an entrepreneurial expert at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, as a visiting professor at the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School, and is a designated member of the Center for Politics and Competitiveness at the École des Ponts Business School.

Danny O'Brien

Danny founded Idea 2 Scale in 2018. To date, their virtual accelerator programs have helped hundreds of founders become investor and market ready. In 2019, he launched the Field Academy, a dedicated program for Food & AgTech startups. Danny has a background in innovation consulting having worked in Dublin, London and New York with regular travel to emerging markets. He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Practice from the UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Kai Peters

Kai Peters is Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Business Law and International Development at Coventry University. He was Dean of Ashridge, Dean and Director of MBA programs at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) from 1993 to 2003.

In addition to academic activities, he chairs GAIA, an e-health company in Hamburg, and is on the advisory board of NewsConsole, an artificial intelligence / big data company in Amsterdam. Peters has written or co-written more than 10 books and chapters, and more than 50 academic and professional articles on leadership and management education. He holds degrees from York University, Toronto and the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi; and Erasmus University.
